One of the main culprits of oily skin after using these products that are designed to help with oily skin is silicone based products. The reason that companies put these in is to make the product creamier and go on easily. The person will find that after using this that their skin will feel like silk. However, underneath this layer of silkiness there are tons of things going on and for the person that is battling oily skin, it is nothing good. The pores are not able to breathe, thus all that oil that was on the face is being trapped under there where the person will more than likely develop acne and have tons of bacteria present on the skin.

Petroleum based ingredients, such as mineral oil is often found in every type of skin care product that is out there. The person will find that if they are serious about stopping their oily skin that they are going to want to avoid using these products. The petroleum based products are going to make the skin look good on the outside, yet they are just encouraging the bacteria and toxins to grow underneath this layer of perfection, which is going to lead to even more oil than before.

Most people when they want to find a skin care product are going to think of going with a natural product since they believe that this is going to help them restore the natural balance to their skin. But, in most natural products, the person will find that beeswax is in these. And beeswax is going to form a layer that on the skin that will be unable to be penetrated by other products that the person may use. And the air is also going to be unable to get to the skin, which is going to cause the pores to become clogged and can lead to many other problems.

Overall, as a person that suffers from oily skin, you will want a product that is not containing these ingredients. However, this does not mean that you should stick away from moisturizers altogether. You will want a skin care moisturizer that is made for oily skin. These products usually contain water and alcohol based formulas that will hydrate yet still allow the skin to breathe. You will almost be able to tell whether these products are good for oily skin or not, just by the consistency of the lotion.

The texture of the skin becomes wrinkled and it looks thick and leathery. Most people associate the condition with aging itself, but studies show that the process is gradual so the condition may appear after many years of sun exposure.

Skin discoloration or hyperpigmentation is another frequent side effect of too much exposure to the sun. This results in dark blotches on the skin which can be quite troublesome from a self esteem point of view. Many women are looking more closely at skin bleach in effort to reverse this damaging effect.

A more severe skin illness that sun exposure may cause is skin cancer. The number of people getting the disease is rapidly increasing. When diagnosed early, the disease has a 100% cure rate. However, it can still cause acute skin injuries.

Basal and squamous cell carcinoma are two very dangerous illnesses of the skin. While basal cell carcinoma may not metastasize, squamous cell carcinoma is likely to do so and affect the other organs of the body. Leaving these diseases untreated may cause death.

Melanoma is a not-so-common type of skin cancer that affects the melanocytes which are responsible for producing dark pigments of the skin or melanin. The disease can be treated like an ordinary cancer, through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Actinic Keratosis or Solar Keratosis is the precursor of squamous cell carcinoma. It is characterized by a scaly lump on the surface of the skin. 40-60% of the cases of this disease result to squamous cell carcinoma.

Although it may seem natural to be outside under the sun, it is not healthy to expose the skin in sunlight at excessive amounts. Wearing sunscreen is an effective way of preventing these diseases, as well as drinking a lot of water and eating healthy foods. Sunlight might seem friendly and warm, but like everything else, it has an evil side that can cause danger to many.

Tea Tree oil is now commonly available in the form of ointments, creams and lotions, nail polishes and soaps. Although some mouthwash products contain tea tree oil in safe quantities, to be safe side it’s best to avoid taking tea tree oil by mouth in any form. While the topical application of tea tree oil has been linked with few side-effects, it is toxic when taken orally causing drowsiness, confusion, stomach upset, severe rashes and weakness. In addition, if you suffer from skin irritations or have sensitive skin, it makes sense to use the tea tree oil in diluted form even when using it as a topical treatment rather than as a full strength application.

Health practitioners have associated tea tree oil with a wide range of antimicrobial properties. It’s been used as an ingredient for ringworm cures, athletes foot, acne and dandruff. There is also a growing school of thought that recommends the use of tea tree oil for nail fungus infections and it is used in a number of the more popular nail treatments. You’ll find tea tree oil in many travel kits to treat cuts, insect bites and minor sunburns.

It should be noted however that few long term clinical trials have been carried out on the effectiveness of tea tree oil for improved health. As with all health problems, be sure to discuss your symptoms with a doctor before embarking on any treatment.

Get a Salon Spray Tan

Although salon tans are more expensive they often look more natural than self tanners purchased at a store. Many salons offer airbrushing which is when an aesthetician mists the self tanner over your body. Salons also offer spray tanning which is cheaper but does not look as natural. To do a spray tan you step into a large booth and jets mist your entire body.

Prepare Your Skin

First, you must prepare your skin for the self tanner by cleansing and exfoliating your face and body. Pay special attention when exfoliating to rough areas such as the knees and elbows because dry skin will absorb a higher concentration of the tanner. Also, remember to shave before applying self tanner.

Protect Your Nails

Apply Vaseline to cuticles and nails before applying self tanner so they do not stain. Do not put on moisturizer before applying the self tanner.

Application

Apply tanner to your legs first and remember to rub the tanner on to the tops of your feet and toes. Next, do your thighs using the excess to cover your knee. Repeat on other leg. Finally, apply to hips, stomach, and torso, following with your shoulders and arms.

How To Self Tan Your Face

Self Tanning your face: Pull your hair up before doing your face. Apply under-eye cream which will lighten the skin under your eyes making you look refreshed and awake. Mix the self tanner with equal parts of moisturizer before applying to your face and neck so that it blends more naturally with your skin tone. Don’t forget: Smooth remaining tanner over earlobes and upper ears. Wash hands thoroughly.

Afterwards

Once you are finished applying the lotion immediately wash your hands multiple times in hot, soapy water. Using a scrub brush on your nails and in between your fingers helps to remove any self tanner that could be hiding.

Drying Process

Wait ten minutes for the lotion to dry before putting on clothes. Let the color develop for four hours before bathing or sweating to minimize streaking. Avoid any activities that will make you sweat for the first three hours.

Moisturizing

You need to protect your tan once it is applied by keeping your skin moisturized to prevent flaking. Apply lotion to your body twice a day or use baby oil before getting out of the shower.

The only difference is that the collagen that is injected in the patient’s lips will come from the patient’s own skin, oftentimes from excess skin removed in facelifts. There is also no risk of an allergic reaction and the results are relatively long lasting. Dermalogen is extracted from a cadaver’s skin. The donor is screened and processed to avoid the spread of possible diseases. Effects and results are temporary and are similar to the effects of collagen injections.

When you first consult your dermatologist or doctor about enhancing your lips, they will most likely ask you to describe what you would like to improve in your lips. Be specific in doing this. As much as possible, bring pictures that will show what you like and what you don’t like. In this case, they will be able to determine and examine if the result you want is realistic or not.

Also inform your doctor if you have allergies, if you have history of scarring like keloids or about certain medications that you are taking. For people who have diabetes, poor blood circulation, heart, lung or liver diseases, you are at an increased risk of having complications. Also, if you smoke or have a family history of blood clots, complications may also occur. For faster recovery, it is best to keep ice packs applied onto your lips for the first 48 hours.

During this time, you should also limit talking and chewing. Smiling and laughing should also be limited for the first week after undergoing this procedure. Sleep in a semi-upright position and avoid strenuous activities for 1 to 3 days. You also have to keep the lips clean to avoid possible infections. Ask your doctor if you need to take any antibiotics.

Do you look at their ears and think “nice earrings”? Do you look at their eyes and think “wow they’re blue”! Or do you look at their faces and see the wrinkles and lines that have been made worse by poorly applied make up? It is a horrible thing to think but there are people out there who are thinking the same thing when they meet you. Its not meant in a malicious way but when your line or wrinkles are pronounced, it can be hard for your eyes not to be drawn to them. Well there is a way to fix this which doesn’t involve going under the knife. Its called the non surgical facelift and it is completely free and painless!

Two of the biggest cons about a face lift is that they are very expensive and are pretty painful too. When you have a face lift, you have to heal and be sure not to split the stitches. This means taking weeks off work, not driving for a period of time and having your face bandaged for weeks. This can not only be unsightly but uncomfortable too. And that is assuming everything goes well. What if you have an infection or accidentally move a certain way too quickly and tear a stitch? You are back to the beginning again. There is a way that is completely painless and won’t leave you feeling like death warmed up for weeks on end. The non surgical face lift can give you the exact same results and with only a little input from you.

The non surgical face lift works by exercising the muscles under the skin of the face. This will help your face hold its own and will make your skin plumper too. There are loads of different routines that you can do so you can work on problem areas f you face. For 15 minutes a day you will start to see results within a month and within a few months your wrinkles will have almost gone! You will be looking just as good as you did when you were 30 and no one will be staring at the bags under your eyes and really will be thinking “wow she looks good for her age”! Give face lifting by exercise a go and see how many years you can take off your face.

Although the said skin ailment can be a hereditary disease, making sure that you take care of your body and your skin is a great way to avoid rosacea. People with extremely sensitive skin are usually prone to rosacea especially those with a lot of allergies because even if these are two separate things, allergies can trigger rosacea. What is interesting about this disease is that, only people with fair skin are affected by it.

Rosacea treatment differs from one person to another. According to the Rosacea Treatment Guide, for most patients this means a combination of therapeutic techniques, topical creams and oral antibiotics. Those with thickening skin caused by rosacea however are advised to undergo dermabrasion or electrocautery. Laser surgery and light therapy are also two other options.

To avoid irritation and discomfort, patients with rosacea should avoid products that cause stinging or burning sensations in the skin. Alcohol based astringents or topical creams with witch hazel are not recommended for people with the full blown rosacea.

When treated early, rosacea can be controlled. Many dermatologists prescribe topical creams to patients with the condition. Topical antibiotic creams are usually applied at least 2 times a day, the active ingredients in these cream include any of the following: azalaic acid, metronidazole, erythromycin, clindamycin, sulfur, and sodium sulfacetamide.

Oral antibiotics for rosacea are also given to patients but these are not retained for the long term, these are only used to minimize discomfort and get rid of pink patches on the patient’s skin.

Those with severe rosacea on the other hand are given isotretinoin although this requires close monitoring by the dermatologist. For those who want to get rid of their rosacea quickly, intense pulsed light (IPL) for rosacea is a great method. Before going through it however make sure you have tried all the other non-surgical methods because it is possible that all you need is a powerful cream.
